Horse Floater Freedom

Horse Floating is apparently the "art" of grinding down the teeth of a horse. In Oklahoma the Oklahoma Veterinary Medical Association wants it to be very expensive. Thereby protecting their business model which is this: Go to school for around 8 years, graduate, and join a monopoly enterprise protected by government. Our human health care system is much the same. It's terribly expensive solely because of the education requirements one must meet before one can perform services. Imagine if the guy who repairs your car's brakes was first required the get a doctorate in mechanical engineering. He'd be paid well and the brakes on your car would cost thousands of dollars to fix. Why, in a free society, can I not have anyone I wish grind down my horse's teeth? Thanks for the link Radley.

Click It or Ticket

The "Click It or Ticket" campaign from the NHTSA is now in high gear. We tax payers pay for their adds on radio and television. They warn us to buckle up or be punished. How, in the Land of The Free, did we ever come this? It is an affront to freedom for government to decide for you what is safe behavior and what is not. I wear my seat belt because it's a good idea and I have a strong sense of self preservation, but it should not be a law.

Thanks for the video Bundy. I like this guy's use of LED lights and a giant light bulb to indicate his capacitor charge.
